A few Haiku

Death’s frosty embrace
turns leaves into golds and reds,
a squirrel eats corn.

Wind whispers to me
the secrets of the leaves hearts,
ice evaporates.

Decay lingers here
it sits on my chest laughing,
a bird chirps at me.
