A Rebel’s Prompt: Loyalty, A Poem
You wanted me to be as loyal as a dog.
I just wanted to fuck you silly.
I never wanted the games.
You never wanted me at all.
I was too overcome with lust to see it.
But I was very loyal to you until I wasn’t.
You drew first blood
and I responded back with my black candles.
And the war continues to this day.
Me with my candles and you with your spirits.
Fighting the endless war neither can win, alone.
But who says I’m alone?
And who says I won’t win?
